Definition of a Learning Channel

"Learning channel -- a sequence specifying the particular sensory mode

by which antecedent events are contacted by a learner and the particular mode of the

action made by the learner in response.

 

 

Generally, a learning channel has at least one "in" term and one "out" term,

each expressed using verbs.

 

 

Common examples used in instruction include:

"see-say," "hear-say," "touch-say," "see-write," "see-type," "see-mark,

" see-point and click," "see-draw," "hear-write," "hear-type," "hear-mark," and so forth."
